Holyoke Park and Rec and Summit 1202 will be having a community gathering hike over at Mount Tom August 16th. We will be meeting at the parking lot right before the Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA starting at 11 am. We will start hiking to the summit at 12 pm. This is not a tour guided hike. This is a community gathering event for those who are interested and for those who would love to get out for a great outdoor adventure. Make sure to be fully prepared for this hike as it has its levels of difficulties from easy to hard. As previously mentioned, if you doubt your ability to complete the climb, we advise against hiking; however, do stop by as we'll have a tent with merchandise, snacks, and other items before the hike. If you plan to join the hike please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. We suggest bringing a water bottle and insect repellent.
